Dr. Udaya Prashant got his FRACP (Cardiology) qualification from Royal Australasian College of Physicians after finishing his Heart Failure Fellowship at the prestigious Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth, and became an imaging expert (Advanced Echocardiography and CT Coronary Angiography) after doing Cardiology Imaging Fellowship at Mount Hospital, Perth. He later completed two years of Complex Coronary Interventions Fellowship at The Townsville Hospital and started working as a consultant cardiologist at the Mater Hospitals.

Before these Fellowships, he did his basic training M.B.B.S, MD (General Medicine)} and Advanced Cardiology Training (D.M) from premier institutions of India like JIPMER, Puducherry and Grant Medical College, Mumbai. He then worked as a consultant cardiologist in some of the best cardiac centers of India like Narayana Hrudalaya, Bangalore, and CARE Banjara, Hyderabad
