34 year Scott Rosser who is London’s Director of Charity Community Transport Association, went through the breakthrough heart surgery using a camera within a balloon. He has been the first man to undergo the heart balloon surgery in the UK.

Elena, a premature baby who came out six weeks earlier had to undergo an open heart surgery in Birmingham Children’s Hospital that saved her life. She was diagnosed with an extremely uncommon heart condition much before she was born during her twentieth week scan. The scan revealed a missing pulmonary valve, a big hole between her two ventricles and enlarged pulmonary arteries.

It has been found that married couples have a greater chance of living up to 15 years after one of them undergoes a coronary bypass when compared to single men and women. Maintaining a healthy Heart, one of the wonderful organs gifted by the Creator, is not  child’s play.  It is indeed a sad thing that every one takes their heart for granted and does not take good care of this amazing pump until it is too late. We should realize that the heart has to work non-stop!  Unless it is given proper care it would be akin to asking for trouble for the rest of our lives.
