I went to the er yesterday because my pulse has been high for a few days. they ran test and couldnt find anything wrong but restin pulse is still in high 90s to 108. I have been donating plasma 2 times a week for last 2 to 3 month and thedoc said my high pulse could be due to that. I also have been taking benadryl for years as well and recently stopped. I was told to see a cardiologist but I'm not working at the moment so im emialing this and seeing where it goes. my blood pressure was fine.
I am 30 years old and have been diagnosed with pericarditis and have been treating it for 2 weeks with high-dose ibuprofen with minimal results, I continue to be in a lot of pain. I have a follow up appointment with my doctor in 3 days, but I am wondering if I should be seen sooner than that. Do you have any thoughts? Thank you for any information you have.
